Hey guys this is my first post here.

Was just wondering if it possible to remove the middle pickup in my Modern player and block it off and install a Bareknuckle Juggernaut in the bridge but keep the neck pickup?

here is the guitar.

With a new pick guard and some wiring modifications you could do it. Best bet is to search the internet for wiring diagram that specifically addresses the configuration you're after and then source the parts and go to work. Or have someone else do it for you if you're not comfortable with wiring.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Why remove middle pickup ?

You loss a choice of sound and you need a new pickgard and new switch wiring ( and new switch ?) . Too much money spend for what ?

Just change the neck pickups . This guitar is so beautiful like that :(

The Modern Player is non-standard as the neck pocket is longer than other Fenders so a new standard pickguard would need modifying to fit the neck and the humbucker surround.
A custom made pickguard the same as the existing one but without the middle pickup cut out would be an option.

If you want to remove the mid pup and replace the bridge pup do it all at once so you don't have to deal with the wiring more than once. A different pickguard would cover the cavity where the mid pup was.
Throw this idea around....if it's not for the aesthetic reason of wanting just 2 pup's and it's because you don't like the sound of the mid pup, possibly replace both bridge and the middle pup.

+1 lots of money just to remove center pickups

I'll just by pass pickup on the switch , keep it in the guitar not connected

Cheers for the quick reply guys!

If it's going to cost too much like a lot of you guys are saying I'll probably just live it in then!

I never really use the middle pickup and prefer the look of the guitar without it in!

Cheers :)
