You email Fender for the Build Sheet & keep it with the guitar... or squirrel away a current catalog...

cheers!

Fender didn't start putting "made in USA" decals on guitars until the mid'70s, so USA and MIM reissues of earlier models don't have country-of-origin decals just like the originals. That's some sort of '72 reissue, so no country-of-origin decal. (Japanese reissues have serial number decals and MIJ/CIJ decals on the heel of the neck.)

MIM reissues have headstock serial number decals that start with the letter "M". USA reissues have the serial numbers in the original places -- either stamped into the bridgeplate, or stamped into the neckplate.

From those two pics, you can tell it's not a MIM reissue since it doesn't have a serial decal that starts with "M" on the back of the head. A pic of the neckplate and the bottom of the neck near the neckplate would confirm if it's MIJ or USA.

s/n V06802 tells you it's an American Vintage Reissue '72 Tele Thinline. On AVRI's the s/n doesn't tell you the build date, so you either need to check the date stamp on the neck heel (remove the neck), or contact Fender customer service.

It's not a 60th Anniversary Tele-bration model. I didn't pay much attention to the hoopla around the Tele's 60th anniversary, but I assume that like anniversary-year Strats, all Tele's built in 2011 were considered "60th anniversary Teles". It's not a special Anniversary model, just a regular AVRI '72 Thinline.

The front of the headstock seems so pale and the back so dark, it's this because of camera?
