I've been offered a 1993 Made in Japan, green flame top, it's also a fotoflame model which i've read is fairly rare. He's offered me this tele in return of my 2012 Gibson Les Paul studio. I'm not sure what these teles are worth, if anyone has any experience with them I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks, Shaheen.

A fotoflame Telecaster while fine guitars are only worth $500-$550 tops (in my area of the Midwest of the US) so depending on the specific model of the Studio you would be coming out on the bottom side of that trade IMHO.

They're uncommon, but not particularly rare. Although like the paisleys, they tend to go bad quickly if you ever get a ding or scratch deep enough to reach the paper.
Going price is probably $300-$600 depending on condition. Somewhat more for the "Stratotele" SSS variety with a 5-way pickup switch and top cutout like strats.
Your LP Studio should easily be worth more, unless it's trashed and the Tele is absolutely pristine.

Like the others said, that would be a bad deal on your part.

"Fairly rare" is one of those vague ebay descriptions that should immediately set off alarm bells.
