I know this sounds cheeky but I've got a hollow bodied aluminum thinline style gtr
which sounds great at low volume but when cranked up it breaks up and sounds like having a bad cable I know it's a cheek but has anyone got any ideas ?

I resume ; Unknow ( for us , no photo, noting ) guitar wich have a breakup sound when full volume with any amp.

Is this mean you try also other know good guitar at full volume with NO breakup on these amps ? ONLY your guitar have break up ?

Guitar model , name , picture plese.

We have to hear it .....on you tube. Because nokwing nothing of you , what you call breakup could have other name here

It will help if you can give answer on each of these questions

How is the higher volume being achieved. That is to say, how are these amps set?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
