Well after visiting guitar centre in Orlando this morning this yummy Tele stole my heart! It's a Telebration Lite Rosewood Tele. I tried a few in there including an FSR ash Tele and an ash American standard Tele but this was the one that spoke to me. Even with a neck heavy balance, rosewood board and vintage pickups all of which are not my thing it was still the one which I bonded with and was also the first one I tried! Just need to ship it to back to jersey C.I. now so that it's ready for my return from holiday. Am well happy!

Its a bit of a beast at 9lb ish but that's one of the things I liked about it! I also purchased a Pro Co Rat, a new strap (not the one in the photo mind) and they threw in a free Schaller strap lock and knocked $10 off the strap. I also got a standard tweed case as the G&C one was damaged which saved me a bit of cash.

What you all reckon?

Very Nice !!

That is a heavyweight though... I've got the opposite end of the spectrum - the Telebration Empress Tele (5lbs.5oz.).

Fender did a really nice job w/ the Telebrations, I've liked every one I've seen !

Congrats & enjoy !!

cheers!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

BTW, you'll want to remove the CE (Conformité Européene) and Recycle stickers from the Commemorative neckplate.

If not, you can cause corrosion, or a discoloration under the stickers when they eventually fall/wear off (because the chrome underneath won't oxidize at the same rate as the rest of the plate).

cheers!

Definitely do just that, that happened on my Graham Coxon signature Tele, I had to replace the plate.

Thanks guys will do that when I get home as the guitar is currently with fedex on its way to Jersey C.I.

To be fair though although I love all my guitars I don't cosset them. The more they look used the better! I'm looking forward to gigging this Tele as soon as I'm back home!

Cheers

Sacha
