me being a recliner rock star I have problems with the straight ends of my cables running into my telecasters being bent and damaged. I use high quality fender cords but the 90 deg ends don't work on the guitar due to short reach. (a problem many of us have had. just saying  )
is there a 90 degree end that works well on a telecaster?

thanks randy

These also work on any Telecaster/Broadcaster/Nocaster, if you can find them. Possibly on eBay...

An alternative is to intall a Switchcraft L11 Jack.
This is the longer version of the Switchcraft 11 Jack which is like the one in your Tele.
You can use an "L" shaped guitar cable plug with a Switchcraft L11 Jack.

I use Whirlwind Leader Elite cords 18.5' and 25' - spendy, but well worth it in terms of quality, sound (a VERY noticeable difference over other cords) and Lifetime Warranty (virtually no-questions asked).

I have a contact at Whirlwind USA and he had a couple of these made for me w/ the 90 degree plug which works great.

cheers!

thanks everyone for the great info. it would make more sense to fix the guitar so every cable would work over just a couple. now i have to get to work on this.
