Is the P/U selector on this guitar meant to slide between pickups without the distinctive notch that you get on a standard tele or strat? The selector on mine moves with no resistance at all and I'm wondering if it's a feature or a fault.

If it's a feature then fine but I'm not sure I understand its purpose!

This aside it is the best playing instrument I have ever owned by a long way. The neck is a thing of beauty and is one fabulous guitar.

Thanks in advance

Ross

Some switches don't have a very strong spring, which then results in very litle resistance when you use it. You could try popping the spring off and bending the hooked ends further to produce more tension when it's stretched. [trim the ends if necessary]. From memory the DG switch is bent downwards a little, as per his own preferrence... but this shouldn't stress anything to produce an overly loose switch action.
