hi i just fitted a new wilkinson trad style bridge to my old walnut squier standard , it has 3 compensated brass saddles and looks very nice 8) , the only problem i encountered was the string spacing coming through the body in relation to the new bridge which is a bit shorter than the stock squier job , ut a few mins with a drill to anle the string holes backwards and the job was a good un 8) , fitted a set of 11,s with a 13 on the bottom (it's used solely for slide) set up my hights and intonation and then to the playing .
unplugged it sounded a good bit louder and when using the slide it sounds so much clearer i'll get it plugged in at rehersals tonight and report back , but all in all a well spent £20 , cheers
Alan
