Hello...new to the forums...looks like a great place for some much needed input.

First a little background info (for those who are interested) in the piece that Im looking for help on:
I have a TV Yellow Squier Standard Tele that I scooped up and made into a project guitar. I was VERY picky about the Squier that I choose for the project...dont write them off...there are some GREAT ones out there if you look. The neck on this one rivals the necks of 99.9% of the USA/Japanese necks that I have played, so it is worth putting in the work and money. Plus its a rad color. So far I have upgraded to a bone nut, Custom Shop Texas Special p/ups, custom made 3-ply pink champagne sparkle pick guard, Fender "F" neckplate. and finally a B5 Fender "F logo" Bigsby.

Now the trouble came in when I put on the Bigsby. I am playing with a surf=punk/rockabilly band right now, so I NEED a trem...and thought this would be my best option. I absolutely hate the bridge that came with it...

Click on the photo of the bridge for a closeup...

After a few songs, the strings slide out of place on the multislotted saddles, and the adjustment screws unthread and throw the radius out of wack.

SO...here is my proposed solution, as I am having trouble finding an AFFORDABLE floating tele bridge. Would it be possible to use a Fender bridge pickup tone ring...

...and install a floating Fender Mustang bridge like this one...

Is there any reason that a Mustang bridge wouldnt work on a Tele with a good set up and adjustment? I am assuming that it would work with the Bigsby, if not I would consider installing a vintage mustang tremolo...

Any thoughts or input?
