Hi!
I've recently bought an overdrive pedal(Behringer Blues Overdrive) and I got this idea of build it in to my telecaster. Is there anyone who has done anything similar? if so, please let me know if it's a fun, original and/or maybe a good solution

I know the guitarist of the MUSE has some onboard effects on various guitars...

Electra did this for awhile with their MPC models.

And of course, there was Danny Gatton's "Magic Dingus Box."

Yeah I have put a distortion pedal (innards) into a tele back in the 80, it was ok,

But I had to take a big chunk out of my 74 Tele, to fit the innard + the batterie,
I would never do it again, as I ruined a good guitar doing it :( ,
