I don't know , at $1,160 msrp , good chance yes.

Or you order one from Fender Custon Shop $$$$$

Or you do some mods , a center pickups, on an american Tele you buy. Not big job if you like to work with your hand and know how to solder electronic . Or see a luthier

I have thought about that. i can and have done a lot of my own work on guitars through the years. i have a 2001 american and just bought a new deluxe (true love) and thought about modding the 2001.
i did some reading on the james burton and like what i see and hear but really want rosewood board. love the deluxe neck and feel so custom shop might be the best way to go or just buy another deluxe and have it modded.

you know 3 telecasters would look nice in my den. LOL

It seems that sometime in the late 1990s the American Standard/American Series/"new" American Standard Tele bodies went to having a humbucker rout in the neck position, a rout for a middle single coil pickup, and a rout for the standard bridge pickup. The American Deluxe Tele body should have the same routing - they had the Nashville configuration for their first year or so (1998s have the middle pickup; some time during the first half of 1999 they changed back to the 2-pickup configuration). Assuming that your 2001 has that routing you would just need to wire in the middle pickup and change the 3-way to a 5-way.

There's no American Deluxe Nashville Power Telecaster.

The American Deluxe Power Telecaster is a regular 2-pickup guitar equipped with an active midrange booster and a sub-rumble filter switch for the Fishman bridge.

This model was made about two years after Fender dropped the middle Vintage Noiseless Strat pickup & auxiliary switching; discontinued in 2002.

The Mexican Nashville is a 3-pickup guitar with the powerbridge being available as an option. In the case of the powerbridge version the active electronics for the piezos are absent.

Only the American Standard Nashville has the B-Bender.

thanks I thought that to be true. I really want my guitar to be America but the mex is a great guitar and value no doubt. so the answer is no American teli with 3 pick ups and rosewood board without building it myself or a custom shop guitar...right?
I do love my 2013deluxe and should be happy but that's not my nature lol.

The American Standard Nashville B-Bender was always available with a maple fingerboard since its introduction in 1998.

The shortlived American Deluxe version was featured with either an abalone dot-inlaid rosewood or maple fingerboard; it lacked off the B-Bender but sported a special 2-way mini toggle switch allowing up to 7 different pickup combinations.

You can get a Nashville B-Bender and swap the stock MN for a RW from another American Standard.

Changing the stock maple neck for a rosewood from another guitar could hurt the value of the instrument so the best solution is to buy a mint American Deluxe Nashville from eBay.

There's a nice 1998 Telecaster Plus on eBay right now that may last till August 31.
I don't know what to make of the serial number??
Nice looking guitar though, very similar to this one in red.

Pickups are noiseless Lase Sensors.
