Hey guys, I'm new in here, come from Germany. So please don't be angry cause of my english.

I turned from Strat to Tele as I bought a used nice Telecaster out of the 90s. My question is, what for a tele is this?

It looks a little bit like a Part-o-Caster, built together out of different parts. But how can I see if the body or the neck is Original how it wants to tell me?

If there are any questions feel free to ask!
It would be very nice of you if you could help me!!!:(

Thank you and rock on!

Philip, It appears to be a Custom Tele manufactured in 1993. Thats' about all I can derive from the pictures. What leads you to believe that it is a part-o-caster? The custom is made with either a rosewood or maple neck and does come in 3-color sunburst.

Hey telelover,

do you casual have a telecaster custom, too? That would be cool to compare the guitars.

In my opinion it seems, that the neck and the mechanics at the headstock do not compare to the body.

Thank you.

Philip, No I don't have a custom, I have a Highway 1 that is the same color as your custom.

Phillip, go to www.tdpri.com

Register there, find Discussions, and post those photos in "TeleTalk."

That web site is filled with dozens of Tele collectors, and they'll know immediately what you have.
