People like the OP have no interest in any advice this forum might provide. The only reason he came here was to throw his little hissy fit. I would be willing to bet the he did the same on other Fender forums. I seriously doubt he will return here. No great loss to this forum.

So would you consider it spam?

+1...just another wanna be who thinks he is hip because he posted on youtube! Another of our younger generation that doesn't understand it is not all about them and their wanting for 15 minutes of "Fame"...same crap mentality that fuels those stupid reality tv shows.

Ignorance is bliss

you remind me of all those people that protested about Martin Vs. Zimmerman

Food for thought. If you don't want those shows on the air stop giving them ratings. As far as this post goes don't reply to it, you just fuel the fire and are as guilty as joining with other peoples opionions like Bill's. An all together you guys make up that as you qouted "stupid reality tv shows" =0)~ Remember it takes more then one person to make a show on a treaded forum.

I agree with Bill. "I hate to do this, but I'm about to..."

The author doesn't hate to do this? He's dying to do this.

If you bought the guitar through MF or some other online company, send it back.
If you bought it through a local music store, have them fix it.

When I ordered my EC Strat through a music store, Fender sent to out the door with the neck on slightly crooked and there was hairline crack in the finish (by the neck joint). As for the paint, this sometimes happens during shipping, and is completely out of Fender's hands.

To say I was bummed is an understatement. Solution: In less than 1 minute and screwdriver, we fixed the neck. As for the hairline crack, I forget it's there.

The guitar is over ten years old, and other than needing a new fret job, is one of my favorite guitars.

Take it back and get it fixed. Good Luck!

Your Absolutley right! I was stuck with the deliema which I should do. I could have easily fixed the bad ground but I would lose my warrenty if I did. So I decided to send it back.

I recently purchased an AVRI 52. I play at church most of the time and we have a Marshall JCM900 lead series reverb and a Vox AC30. When I play on the Marshall the amp buzzes quite a lot when I do not have my fingers on the fret board. But when I play the Vox I do not have the same problem. Maybe as some of the previous posters have mentioned it could be the static or specific setup of the equipment and where you are standing or sitting. Maybe you should take it to your local music shop and play on their amps or plug it into another amp in another location to see if it does the same thing. Alternatively you can return to whoever you bought it from as it is still under warranty.

Took the amp to the babys room (no baby in sight mind you) I used my Fender reissue(TUBE) and my Mustang IV V.2 (Solid state) with equal/same results affect. When I called tech support they told everything you just said. Right to the T. Thats good info for newbies out there. Thanks for the advance.

Just wanted to say I am new to this site and forum. I have notice old timmers on here already. By old timmers I mean the ones that posted over 1,500 post or more, have short patenices with post that seem lack of a better word "annoying". Which tells me they seen these type of post before and are annoyed by it. Fender brought me into this forum world because of a bad product nothing more. I love making people aware. I use to be on photography forums and others through out my day and notice these people are everywhere lol. Anyway my name is Christian
I am happy to meet and learn from everybody on this site even the grumpy ones =0). You know who they are. I am sorry I started a thread on the bad note.
But O, well I did and I apologized. Feel free to leave constructive feedback below.
