I'd opt for the Butterscotch Blonde model.

The brown anodized guard is horrible :twisted: , this guitar would look much better with a 1-ply black vinyl IMO. :P

The Butterscotch Rustic Ash Tele doesn't only need a better-looking pickguard but also deserves a splittable chrome-covered Atomic humbucker in the neck!

My Andy Summers inspired home built Tele has a SD Jazz Humbucker in the neck and a CS Broadcaster pup in the bridge. It's a great combonation.
