So I was calibrating and intonating my guitar (Telecaster Blacktop HH) everything ok except for the 6 string, it can't correct intoned because the screw in the bridge is all the way in.

What Can I do?

I was thinking in changed this part:

But I don't know if this is even possible (or advisable)

Any idea?

Thanks

Did you stretch the strings properly? You probably have a dud string. I've had several occasions where a string won't intonate and I swapped in another string and it worked fine. I suggest you change the string before you mess any more with the saddles.

Check your neck with truss rod adjustment if needed . too much bck bow = short neck = problem with saddles screw .

Sometimes I have to cut the spring, to have it shorter, on some saddle screw to have proper intonation.

On the photo you can turn the screw more if you cut the spring, remove about 1/8 inches

Sure your neck need a truss rod adjustments , tightened. Too much curve in the neck

OR

Your Tuner is false .

OR

You set of strings are defective

The fact that ALL those saddles are extremely retracted reinforces the above.

+1 That bridge is totally screwed up. I suggest taking the guitar to a good guitar tech before any damage is done.

Ok, I loosed all the screws.

I use D'addario 9 strings with the tuner inside the boss gt8.

The fact is that I'm far (as in far far away) from my regular guitar tech guy (the one who always shielded my guitars and do my calibration), and I will be for maybe a couple of months. And well I want to learn how to do it myself.

I got all the regular tools and the printed fender manual, I can try do the rod adjustment myself following the manual carefully. :|

What I don't understand is why the rod adjustment is after the intonation in the manual!

Thank you for the input guys

In Fender's Tele Setup manual the order is:
"Intonation (Roughing it out)" ->
[...]
"Truss Rod" ->
[...]
"Intonation (Fine Tuning)"

Usually a guitar doesn't need that "rough" intonation adjustment done by measuring. But, looking at those saddle positions, you might start with that.
Like others wiser than me have said above, it's highly unlikely that the guitar is set up correctly & intonated right if all saddles are maxxed out.

Was that Tele set up by that "regular guitar tech guy" of yours?

No, he did the shielding, before the guitar was kind of noisy with heavy distortion.

But really I didn't remember how was before because I didn't check it the intonation before.

Don't do truss rod adjustment until you know exactly what you are doing . Don't work like a blind . You'll do a mess with your guitar and damage truss rod or neck.

YOU MUST BE SURE THE NECK CURVE IS WRONG BEFORE doing anything. Take some reading FIRST.

There a lot of thing it is not write in set up guide . Buy a good book from Dan Erlewine

http://www.amazon.com/Guitar-Player-Rep ... an+erlwine

Truss rod/ neck curve reading need capot on first fret , good rule . Good quality allen wrench if you don't want to damage truss rod nut . Many Fender allen wrenc are poor quality , don't use it if not thight in the allen head.
1/10 turn and wait few hours before other adjustments. Could take 24 hours to do a proper job.

Guitar set up is not a rocket science , easy with a good book AND proper tool.
