Changing the orginal Tele Pups from a new Standard Tele and wiring with a 4 way switch from Acme Guitar Works. When I opened up the Tele I noticed there were three cavity ground wires, one each at the neck, bridge and switch plate cavity. All the wiring diagrams do not show that this is necessary. Is this because the TS pups and possible Acme's switch plate ground differently. The new Standard Teles have conductive paint in the cavities. Do I need to ground to he cavity?

If you want the benefit of shielding provided by the coated cavities, yes.

I just replaced the bridge. Hate to take it all apart again to get to hook up that ground wire. I will just ground the switch plate cavity. The TS neck pup has a cover ground. Going to see what result is, with just those two. Thanks again for your help.
