I was raising the action on my Tele so that I stop hitting the frets with my slide. I decided that I'd go all the way up and I felt on of the screws (on the 5th string) really loose. I picked up my slide and when I went to raise the action even more, the screw disappeared. It fell out. I finally found it but now I'm wondering if i can get longer bridge screws for the tele.

You might be able to find something at a hardware store.

There are replacement nuts that you can install easily over your existing nut that would much better accomplish what you're going for. If you're bent on just adjusting the action, then you can probably find the screws you need at a regular hardware store. They will most likely be called "set screws" and possibly will be metric, so your best bet is to take either the screw and the saddle with you or just bring the guitar down to make sure. If you're comfortable adjusting your truss rod, a half-turn counter clockwise should raise the action quite a bit too, the problem with raising the bridge saddles is that it doesn't really effect the string height on the lower frets, just from the 7th or 9th up (depending on the scale). Good luck
