Lately this has been my favorite stuff to play through when I'm practicing at home.

Tele Standard > Russian Big Muff or early 90's ProCo RAT > MXR Carbon Copy > Boss PH-1 > Vox AC4TV. Sometimes I just plug straight into the Vox and turn it up all the way on the 1/4 watt setting. Sweet sounds for sure. 8)

Quantity be damned. Love what you have and take good care of it. Clapton has had lots of stuff, but always comes back 1 Strat and 1 amp and not much else.

More often than not at home these days, it's either unplugged on the sofa, or direct through an old Tascam Fireone into a laptop with Amplitube 3 and a decent pair of headphones, occasionally with my smaller pedalboard in the chain into a clean Twin model or similar.

I live in a flat these days with incredibly thin walls. I also live directly above my landlord. Even one watt is more than capable of being very irritating.

I have rehearsals, sessions and gigs to satisfy my appetite for delicious high volume madness, so it's not so bad.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I rarely use pedals, so something like this is what I use!

Joe Walsh says his favorite combo, (and what he used on Rocky Mountain Way) was a Standard Telecaster and a Fender Champ cranked all the way up, that's it. Sometimes less is more!

As per my signature, MIM std Tele into a Frontman 25R and a Zoom effects unit.
Although for the last yr or so I have probably only plugged my guitar in and played it amplified literally a couple of times. As I have 2 young kids (2 1/2 and 9 months old) I find I do most of my playing accousticly (either on the the tele or quietly on my accoustic) late at night. I actually think this has been good for my practicing as when playing the tele unplugged you have to be a bit more clean and on the money.

I like those knobs of that Fender Bender, they'd look cool on a Blacktop Strat!

I haven't been on here in a few days. I figured the thread was dead. Haha. Cool rigs everyone. I changed mine up a little yesterday. I'm still using my Vox, but with my '72 Deluxe Reissue Tele, and a MXR '78 Distortion pedal.
