You're can't really be serious are you??
I love blonds, but variety is the spice of life..., here's a cherry burst I built with an '83-'84 top loader bridge.

Nice lookin' blondes!

Here are my two blondes.. Any guesses here? The one on the left should be pretty easy, but who knows what the one on the right is?....

The one on the right is an 83-84 American Standard, with a Schaller Elite top loader bridge and 12" radius neck, or else, Fender has come out with a 30th anniversary, "End of the Smith Era, Tele."
It's exactly the same as my first Tele..., and no, I didn't part out my 83 to build the Cherry Burst.
I love those 83-84 top loader bridges and was thrilled when I found one that was available on line.

You got it! And yes, it's an '83. I see you are familiar with the '83 Elite saddles!

Love your Cherry Burst, by the way..

Can you post a couple of videos to show us your top-loaded babies in action?

Here's my '83 Blonde American Standard with a new Pearl Pickguard and Fender SCN noiseless pickups.

Image

Here's a close up of the beautiful Schaler Elite Saddles that were only used on the very limited production '83-'84 American Standard Teles, when Fender was considering producing all of their future guitars in Japan, prior to the Employee buyout and the rebirth of the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and the move from the Fullerton, California production facility to Corona California.

Still looks great after all these years, and still smells like vanilla when you open the case.

Yep, I know what you mean - mine still looks pretty good for an '83, and I play it all the time!

The last of the Fullertons...
