Hi,
I am an accoustic player who is taking the plunge to add an electric to his stable. I have chosen the American standard Telecaster as I love country rock music & have been told this is the best choice.
As a UK-based lefty, I have had to order blind so to speak, & will have to wait 2-3 months for delivery!
I look forward to learning a lot from you guys as I "discover" the electric world. My big worry is using a pick as I am a nail man & find a pick impossible to use for strumming my accoustics.....
cheers!

Good luck, lefty. Get yourself over to tdpri.com (strictly a Tele site) and guitarists.net

You'll find more activity there for the adventure you're about to embark on.

I wouldn't worry about using a
pick... There are,,, or were some
very good players that don't use
a pick...

Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood
Mac,,, Toy Caldwell from Marshall
Tucker come to mind...

Congrats fellow Lefty player!!!

As it has been said, don't worry about using a pick there are many players that don't. Play the way you feel comfortable.

that is one reason i really love tele's, they have a very natural acoustic feel to them , so you can go no pick real well.
