Well I voted neck, but I probably use the "2" position more than anything else.

My one vote for the neck just gave us a 33% lead.

I use the bridge pick up a lot, but I also use the 2 position a lot with the S1 switch pushed in (I have a humbucker in the neck position).

I use both at the same time on most of my Teles, where is that option?

If I had the equipment, I'd replace the neck pickup with a strat pickup. I just don't like the sound of the neck pickup.

What about those of us with a Nashville Tele, that has a 5-way switch and 3 pups? (I just ordered mine today, it should be in late next week.)

Personally, I like both in series. Also good is both in series, out of phase. I like the neck pickup on its own, too. (Japanese '62 Custom Tele re-issue.) (My mate James enjoys rewiring guitars. This one now has 4-way switching - bridge, both in parallel, neck, both in series; with a push/push for in or out of phase. Control plate reversed, too, so volume's nearest my picking hand, tone in middle, then selector. Plans are already laid to do the same rewire to my G&L Tribute ASAT Classic. I can't recommend this fairly simple modification too strongly -the extra tones enhanced what was already my favourite guitar. (Oops - the computer just spell-checked me for using the British spelling. Can't help my birthplace, upbringing, education etc. Apologies, though, for using UK English on a US site!) Love those American (designed) guitars - I also have a Highway 1 Strat, and a G&L Tribute S-500, along with various others less relevant to this site.

It's all about hot bridge pickups in the Tele
