I just did what Pres. Bush suggested to save the economy and bought a Blackout tele.

I was amazed at the tones and ranges of the stock pickups. Even with a start style 5-way switch, it definately doesn't sound like a strat. Fairly basic tele, but everything works well.

Anyone else get one? How do you like it?

I saved the economy by buying a Nashville Tele in Candy Apple red with a Maple neck. Unfortunately, they didn't have one in the store, so they ordered it. I should get it late next week.
