I have a 72 tele thinline reissue, has a vintage style strat strings-thru bridge, and i wanted to know if i could stick a vintage strat style bridge cover on it?

Hmmm....

Most of the Teles I've seen have humber pickups as strats have single-coil.

Could u post a pic? I don't really understand what u mean.

1. Most of the Telecasters I've seen have single coils in both the bridge and neck positions. Very few have humbucker pickups.

2. I do believe, and if you'll read it again, you'll probably see, that he asked about a bridge cover, and not a pickup cover.

What I'm wanting to do is put a strat style bridge cover on the hardtail bridge of my 72' thinline, i think it would like kinda cool since their are alot of shiny parts on it.

Ps. Bridge COVER not bridge pickup cover.

It'd work perfectly because it's the same bridge, just without that extra part for the whammy, and if I'm wrong you can sue.
