I was stripping the paint off my nashville telecaster and I accidentally burnt the wood, Thererfore it swelled. I sanded the swelled bits back to find a small hollow cavity under each burn. I was wondering how to go about fixing this, so I looked at my grain filler packaging and it says that it can be used as a filler for gaps up to 1cm deep and 3cm wide, and the holes are within these sizes, I was wondering if this would work, and if not how do I fix it?

are you using a solid color to redo the finish with? if you are, I would think so..

But, this guy www.danerlewine.com would know.

See if he has a "email me" link on his web site.

Dan is THE man...
