why is there no pattern around the pickup ?

one of the times i saw Oasis play live, Noel Gallagher was playing one of these. loved it.

The pickguard is clear, to show the paisley pattern underneath, but the rout for the neck pup shows through and looks a little untidy. The answer was to shoot some of the same colour paint as used on the edges of the body around the back of the neck pup hole in the guard, and that way it looked all smart and tidy! :)

Sue Foley has a guitar like that.
I didn't realize it came from Fender like that.
I thought it was custom.

The knurled chrome knob on the master tone pot has been replaced by an aged cream Strat type.

Yeah, I noticed that.
Did you also notice that those are two different pink paisley Telecasters in those two pictures?
I wonder how many she has.

Interestingly, it appears that the paisley pattern can be placed differently from Telecaster to Telecaster. Each one is a bit unique.

The first photo shows a standard 3-ply white guard instead of the 1-ply transparent.

I think it's the same guitar which was apparently modded.

no look closely at the pattern, those are definitely 2 different teles. look at the paisley shape above the tone control on the one with the white pickguard. its not there on the bigger picture.

True and thanks! I wasn't going for an exact replica, just a nod to a cool guitar. It's a great Fred Stuart creation!

Your axe is built for twang.

Brad Paisley, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens and James Burton would be proud!

We'd expect a video showing your baby in action, dude... :P

Thanks! I just wish I could play like Brad or James or sing like Waylon or Buck!
Here's a little demo I shot of 'ole Paisley.

Nice job, bro!

Judging the video you've posted your twangbangin' machine is fitted with a Hipshot D-Tuner which allows you to switch to drop D with the flip of a lever, expanding your sonic palette into a deep, throaty baritone growl.

This guitar deserves a B-Bender! :P

Yup! Hipshot/Fender D-Tuna there. Fred sent them a Fender tuner & Hipshot put their guts in it. It looked real purty! :D And I agree, a B-Bender would've been awesome in that one!
