I have the Nashville power tele which is also made in Mexico. It's finish is great and no rough edges on the neck. The back of the neck is very beautifully figured...looks like it was flamed. The 3 pickups (plus the piezos) and the 5 way strat switch give a great tonal range from tele through strat to I'm not quite sure what with the piezos.
I love my MIM tele.
cheers,
Alex
ps....your playing is always so good...inspirational to me!

Does anybody have a link to the manual download for a '72 classic thinline reissue (MIM)? I've been all over Fender's awful website and can't find it.
Thanks in advance...

Thanks...but I was already on that page. I went back to the support page and found that they don't have a manual for that specific model:

Apparently, it's generic manual for all guitars...

I have a 53 reissue that I bought a couple of years ago. I loved the guitar as soon as I bought it. I had it for about 4 mo. then I installed Texas Special pickups on it and installed a four way switch, I would not trade or sell this ax for nothing. I now have a Les Paul setting in my closet, it just dont play the same.

Both of my Telecasters are MIM. I freakin' love 'em. The Standard I got last week is quickly becoming my favorite guitar to play. The neck is really comfortable. There are a couple pics of them in my thread over in the Lounge...

I have a 1996 Standard MIM Tele and it's always been outstanding. I did replace all the electronics with MIA Fender stuff but I kept the pickups. I love that guitar!
