Hi,

I lost coa of my telecaster.
It is 1982' reissue model.

Is there any way to get replacement of coa?

I am not aware of a COA that came with the Vintage Reissues in 82. I have a '57 Vintage Reissue Strat from 1982 and it came with quite a bit of paperwork, but no COA. Can you give us a bit more details on what this looked like?

This is what the Certificate of Authenticity is like!

It is not like the COA that is issued with Custom Shop guitars, but the same rules might apply to replacements.
If you are the original owner of the guitar, and you have proof of purchase (receipt) you maybe can get a replacement, but I can't be totally certain, and I think the best course of action is to contact consumerrelations@fender.com and see what they say about it!

I just called to headquarter yesterday.
and they say since 2006 they stop to issue COA.
and there is no way to get replacement...
although I still want to get replacement.
I might send an e-mail to consumerrelations@fender.com

I had a 2005 AV '52 Tele for a while and it did have that same certificate that Butterscotch posted. Evidently they were only done for the AV '52 Teles, never for the AV Strats, basses, or other models that reissued later years where the serial number was on the neck plate.

I always suspected it was because the serial number was on the bridge plate and they also provided that 6-saddle replacement bridge that had no serial number on it. If you changed the bridge out to the six saddle and either lost or threw away the 3 saddle then at least you had that certificate as proof of a serial number.

on my guitar it has 3 saddle plate and it has low sirial number stamped on.
and 6 saddle they don't have sirial.

John C...Did not know that they did that for the AV Teles...My '82 Vintage Reissue Strat did not come with one, and I bought it new. I even went and looked through the bag of stuff that came with it, just to make sure I hadn't forgotten about it (that has been known to happen from time to time!). Thanks for the info. Butterscotch thanks for the photo!

I don't think that CBS did it; I think it was an FMIC thing and it didn't necessarily happen for all years. Mine was a 2005 and it did have one.
