Go with the one that is most comfortable to play and pleasing to the eye. Pups can be changed easily. I have Texas Special CS pups in my tele, and they sound warmer and beefier than the usual teles. Very kickass

I'd check out the 1989 MIJ with the Bigsby. I've only seen one other Telecaster with a Bigsby. Such a cool guitar.

I think you have 3 fine choices up but I second a 72 Thinline which will get you the tone you described looking for and one that is MIJ/CIJ would be my personal choice for that ax if you can find one over a MIM or US re-issue.

One that plays, feels, and souns the best. If playing is not possible and based on the information provided...MIJ with Bigsby, it sounds interesting.

Ive got to honest the bigsby does sound like fun, but I think I'd go for the 60th MIM with lollers.
Ive played some great 60th teles recently, very solid playable instruments....and the lollers would certainly sound killer....
If your after a good solid tele thats not been 'experimented' on ( Ive seen some awful attempts at putting bigbys on teles in my time) unless the bigsby is a factory install or good luthier, id be carefull...
Thinlines dont do it for me but each to their own.

Any chance of some pics? :D

Japan and Mexico made Fenders?

Is anyone really considering them to be real Fenders?

It's your decision. Do what you like. If you want other peoples opinion I think it would be nice to know if you are buying used or new and to see what the guitars look like. All of them are Fenders and seem like good guitars on the surface.

I had a chance to trade my Silvertone 1457 set for a '69 Thinline Classic Series in a FSR white finish a couple months ago but didn't do it because I found the resale value was under $400 if I remember right. I ended up selling the Silvertone guitar for $350 and traded the case with another small tube amp straight across for a mint Gibson.
