Not sure why but this knocks my socks off.

Black Rose Tele

In some ways it's ugly and gaudy and probably overpriced but I like it anyway.

I can't afford it so I want be making a bid but thought it was interesting enough to share with you guys.

It's a partscaster.

The bridge pickup is the same side-by-side humbucker found on the John Jorgenson Korina Telecaster.

I didn't even notice the parts before. The guitar itself has no intrinsic value so the seller is trying to get thousands for his artwork. Fair enough I guess, the art ain't bad, subjectively speaking. There's a lot of detail and probably a lot of time spent on it. I like the front much more than the back side but I'm having trouble seeing over four thousand dollars worth. But what do I know, I'm not an art connoisseur.

Looks like a STAR. I seems that custom look costs about 75% from that value. But I like the idea :D Nice one work horse :o
