Hi everybody, and "bonjour" from France.
My apologies for my approximative english, first...
I'm desperately looking for information about Steve Winwood's "acoustic thinline telecaster", which he seems to play all the time (very present in his last CD Nine Lives, and which you can see in Crossroads 2007 Can't Find My Way Home). I've seen photographs of 2 models, one is sunburst, the other black.
Maybe the question has been asked yet, but, as any unskilled man, I've not been able to find it out from this forum...
If anyone of you could give the solution of this little mistery (this guitar doesn't seem to appear in the Fender catalogue), it would be great!
(sorry if the post already exists, I'm really a newbie...)

Thank you very much for your answer, but it's not the guitar I'm talking about.
The Telecester is a thinline-like one, seems like "Telecoustic" but there is no hole, and no visible pickup.
You can find some photographs on my blog (well, it's in french, but not very important for photographs; if you wish, there's a Google Traduction tool, which gives sometimes...astounding results.)
It's just here below:

I've seen the question asked elsewhere only once in the TDPRI forum, but there was no anwer too...

2008 Big Mistery?
will win a prize if you get it!

I have the same Telecaster as the above link to Musician's Friend. I saw the same concert, and it didn't strike me as the same guitar as I have.

I have the 72' Thinline RI and I love it.

Man, i tried finding which guitar the OP is looking for and came up with nothing. Now my curiosity is peeked! From the pics provided, it doesnt look like anything out there.... I can't see any pickups, though it may have a bridge pickup hidden by his hand...but it surely has knobs and an F-Hole. But it doesnt have your traditional hole behind the strings. Weird.

there's something that seems like Steve Winwood model there:

but not exactly this, of course.
Seems like a genuine Fender model, but not in catalogue, nor in Custom shop.
Weird, like you said.
