E-bay...the guy "Stratosphere" has tons of necks and bodies for sale. And I have heard some good things about him.

who would of thought a usa fender tele neck would be so damn expensive. How much is a 2008 HWY1 Sunburst worth anyway? and is there a huge difference in MIM or USA necks? and do i need to get a HWY1 neck or will any tele neck work?

I see you checked out the prices at the Stratosphere  They aren't cheap but I admit I've purchased items from there too, and they're always as describes and well packed for shipping. Sometimes you can find items on regular auction or on sale.

To answer your question, yes, any MIM, MIJ, or licensed tele neck (Allparts, Warmoth, etc) will work just fine.

I have a number two Allparts necks finished by MJT (Mark Jenny) and have been really happy with both of them... ones a "C" shape and the other is chunky, and man, it is CHUNKY! Anyhow, they don't come with nuts installed you you either have to DIY or or have someone do it for you but they're nitro finished (not all of them are super-relic'd... one of mine was just like new) and there are usually a bunch for auction on ebay... somethines they go for less than $200... which is a great deal IMO.
