Yep. That's me, circa 1969 (age 15 or 16). I have no idea what the guitar is or the amp I am using. I have tried to identify them with no luck. You can see a name on the headstock in the original photo, but it is impossible to read. The amp is some cheap solid state thing. The guy in the background is a retired jazz drummer who played professionally with a number of well known jazz bands in the 40's and 50's. The photo was taken at his home in Port Charlotte, Florida where my parents had their retirement home built. His name was William Fig. I wish I still had the guitar and strap. The strap is an original Ace "Hendrix" strap.

Bill...do you remember what songs you were playing at that session? It would be interesting to know! I turned 10 in 1969 and I remember some guys that lived up the street from me that had a garage band and were probably about your age at the time. I remember "Wipe Out" being the song we always wanted to hear them play. It was their best song! They were my early inspiration.

I had this portrait done with my Harmony for my fiance (now wife) in college:

Here I am with the classical guitar my parents got me while in college:

I was actually pretty good. I could play several of the pieces from JS Bach's lute suites as well as other works of Baroque and Rennaisance composers.

Finally, here I am last Christmas:

My real guitar playing is not much better.

I can't believe I posted that.
