I was watching random youtube video and came across what looks like the confused offspring of a tele and a strat. It has a tele headstock and what appears to be a tele body, but strat style pickgaurd and bridge with 2 strat EMG pickups (i think) Anyone seen anything like this? here's the link to the video if anyone's interested: http://youtube.com/watch?v=y5zHh9dOKbM&feature=related Just thought it was interesting.

Looks to me in that dim light like it could a Fender Lead.... maybe a modified Fender Tele.

Well after further review, i've discovered that while it looks like a tele-strat hybrid (which was a custom shop model made for the 60th anniversary) the guitar in question is actually a vintage "Fender Bullet" Honestly i think it's kinda ugly, but to each their own. The mystery has been solved thanks everyone who tried to help.

for further reading on the 1st model 1981 Fender Bullet, see:

That is a early 1980's Fender Bullet.

That's it--they were incredibly cheap feeling.

Way to nail it, Terrapotamus! Interesting! I always liked the Tele headstock a little better than the Strat! :)
