This is the guitar that I wish the Custom Shop would recreate... Jimmy Page's "Dragon" Telecaster for the tone hungry masses. Led Zeppelin's 1st album was quite the milestone & most of the cuts feature this very special guitar.

It's Jimmy Page that got me started playing in the 1st place!

Jeff Krause of FMIC related to me that there are no plans to do this as a reissue as they do not have a working relationship with him at this time. However, should that change sometime in the future...

Yeah, I love Les Pauls too
BUT
um, well... nevermind!

I suppose that a custom build by a very talented luthier might be in order. I wonder who could do it justice & might be willing to take on the task... hmmm!!!!

TELE
Roadcase
Bow
Strap

Group buy on a limited run?
kinda sorta maybe
... just sayin'

Jimmy page inspired me too and it would be so cool if they made at least like 200 of them! People would pay thousands! :D

That would be worth getting a MIM tele, giving it a tummy and forearm tuck, strip it, and send off to a tattoo artists for painting. You would probably be around 700 bucks total for your very own custom JP Dragoncaster! LZ I is my fav LZ album and my fav JP tone!

Greeneyesj ...

The TELE pictured is one of a limited run of relic'd DRAGONS that were built a few years back in the USA. I acquired the photos after the fact, unfortunately. I would have loved to have obtained one for my collection.

Here's a few more...

There's a master luthier in Japan who produced this replica w/o wear & tear.

I could live with that!!!!!
