Hello everyone :D I just picked up a new (new to me but used)and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I was wondering what color ya'll think it is? And also what you think of it :) And yes its chrome the lighting is what makes it look bronze/gold. I bought this because I had to sell my 2007 American Series Telecaster because I needed my car and I needed to fill the void :C

I think it's probably chrome red; I don't think they went to candy cola until the revised American Standards came out in 2008 but I could be wrong on that. It's one of the two colors depending on the year.

Nice looking Tele - is the neck pickup also a Vintage Noiseless? I couldn't quite make it out from the photos (based on my screen resolution).

I've owned CAR and chrome. If the red is a little darker and richer it's CAR. If the Red is a little "cooler," than I'm going with chrome red.

It's the original red and the only red made for the American Series of my year was apparently Chrome Red :)
