Are these the exact same WR HB pickups used in both the MIM Classic Series and the AVRI '72 Telecaster Custom? If not, what are the differences in construction and tonality?

Don't know what the differences are, but they are not the same as the original wide range humbuckers:

I'm aware that the reissues are not made with the same magnets or construction as the originals. I am simply looking to discern the difference between the MIM and MIA current production versions of this pickup.

The pickups were the same until recently.
Fender is now installing their re-voiced WRHBs which are indeed an improvement over the previous version.

The existing re-issue WRHBs have an 8K output, while the re-voiced version is 7.45K making it brighter and less muddy.

They still lack the fundimental chime and harmonics when played clean, but they do sound a lot better when they're over driven.
