Post subject: Do I have a rare color for my 1990's American Standard?

As soon as i figure out how to post a pic. i will. The color is close to blizzard pearl but with a hint of green. like a pale metallic green. definitely not fender sage. bought it in a S.F Guitar Center in the early 90's.

any help would be nice.

80's regular production run strats had smaller headstocks. That Antiqua strat has a larger 70s head stock.

It seems like the antigua color on Strats, Teles, etc. ran from about 1978-1980 so the Strats would have still used the large headstock. The smaller headstock didn't come back on the "regular" Strat (i.e. not "The Strat") until 1982 (the "Smith Strats" that were actually called "Standard Straocaster" on the 1982 price list).

The S/N for that Strat is S930788



Guitar Info
Your guitar was made at the
Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA
in the Year(s): 1978 - 1981

The seller says it is a 1980 model
