Hey all, I put one of these on my new Paisley Tele and everything lines up fine except the string holes. I can still get a string in with no problems, but I am worried about string breakage because on a couple of strings they break in towards the saddle rubbing against the steel. Should i be worried? Thanks.

The Paisley Tele uses a modern 6-saddle bridge. Mounting holes and string holes for the Wilkinson vintage tele bridge are in the wrong location to replace a modern Tele bridge. On top of that, the string spacing on the Wilkinson bridge is different from the modern bridge. There simply no way to make the Wilkinson bridgr work on a Paisley Tele without modification. Return the Wilkinson and get the correct bridge. Callaham and Joe Barden make vintage style Tele bridges that will fit your guitar.

I dunno Bluesky, seems to fit almost perfectly. I think you may be confusing the bridge with a U.S. bridge.

Please post photos so I can see what you have.

You said you had a "new" Paisley Tele. This is the only Paisley Tele I can find and it uses a modern American style bridge:

You also said you used a Wilkinson vintage Tele bridge:

None of these are compatible with your guitar. I have no idea what guitar or bridge you have.

Yeah, that is the guitar but it doesnt use a U.S. bridge(3 screw), these are Mexican(4 screw) and the bridge should be a drop in. It pretty much is except a couple of the strings are pressing against the steel.
Wish I could do pix but I cant.
