hello!

I'm just about buying this tele. The seller tells me that its a deluxe model made in 2001. I tried to google, but got no information about this kind of tele.

Has anyone seen this before? Is it a real fender? What exact model it is?

Thank you so much.

I'm not sure what it is, but I really don't think it is a real Fender. Body shape is wrong, angled humbucker is wrong... :(

I'd say it is a "partscaster" of some type!

i agree, and its a rubbish looking one aswell. body shape is wrong, decal is wrong, pickup is very wrong, scratchplate is wrong (its cut for the standard ash tray bridge), neck looks fake i think.

stay away

Phoney as a $3 bill - and not even a very good fake attempt on the headstock decal. There is nothing correct on that guitar at all.

I agree that it looks like a guitar that was made from
many different parts. Take the pickguard off...on second
thought...just stay away from it.

I agree that it's a partscaster at best. The body and bridge are not string-through, the humbucker is set cock-eyed, it has no micro-tilt adjusment, the string tree is wrong for a deluxe neck, and all the American Deluxe's I've seen did not have the circled R at the end of the Fender logo as most other models do.

I agree. Too many things wrong. The shape of the head is wrong also.

It's definitely a faux Fender. The headstock decals are all wrong, and the body contour is suspect. Pass on this one unless it's $100 or less, and remove the Fender logo if you buy it.
