Corpse, they definitely do. Its the B16 model thats "designed" for the tele but you can mount others. you'll need to get a different bridge aswell, and do some pretty solid drilling into the body of the guitar. Have a look at this one:

HA, ofcourse it wont (what was I thinking). B5 brother, check out moochy's mod with his JA-90, you'll have to do something similar.

It aint gonna work with the blacktop bridge mate, because the string wont make enough of an angle over the saddles to

1) get over the back of the bridge
2) create enough tension to hold in place (and not slide off)

You MIGHT be able to make it work if you angle it all just right but I don't think that it will work without raising the strings to a height that makes it unplayable. Sorry.

Just FYI, the bridge on the blacktop isn't top loading as the strings go through the body, a top loading bridge has the strings that finish at the back of the bridge, like this:

Looks like you found the other threads on the net that cover his issue.

Cutting the bridge + new saddles does look like an option if you're willing to go that way.

Just checking corpse if you're still following; how'd you make out? I just took delivery of a blacktop tele and am somewhat dismayed at apprently having to give up the bridge and jump thru hoops to get a bigsby mounted.

Probably a little late to the game but here goes...

Check out Callaham guitars. He's started making a bridge specifically for this purpose. It's a 3-saddle bridge, but, whaddya gonna do? It's not a toploader in having string through back plate, the back plate is cast (or machined?) to allow the string pass to pass over the bridge.

http://www.callahamguitars.com/index.html scroll down for: Callaham Vintage Hardtail Bridge with Enhanced Brass Saddles Specialized for Bigsby Flat Mount styled Vibratos

FWIW, I have installed his bridges on several guitars, including my beloved '62AVRI that I plopped a B5 on and it's a standard upgrade for me now. His work is outstanding.
