Regular Slinky's. Just got them one day and then stuck with them.

Had settled on Ernie Ball Slinkys because I loved the feel. Decided to try some Elixir coated strings and these are now my favourites. Very smooth on the fingers, don't make as much noise when dragging my fingers on them and really easy to bend.

Size is regular 10-46; bit fatter sound than the original nines. Also had problems with notes going sharp in the first fret. I found the 10s better as I couldn't push them quite as hard.

Cheers.

I used to play DR 10s, but I only recently came back to electrics (been playing acoustic exclusively for 10 yrs. In that case, you can't beat martin marquis.....) My new tele came with the factory strings and I immediately swapped them out to try elixirs. Time will tell, but even the nanowebs seem slightly dull. I'd switch back to the DRs, but the tele has jumbo frets and the DRs seem to bend so easily, I'm afraid I'd be 'sharping' all the time. Maybe when I get used to the frets I'll switch back.

I use Ernie Ball Regular slinkies on all my electrics. They are cheap, sound good, and last a long time!

I don't think expensive strings are really worth it - I had a £15 set on my acoustic and snapped one within a month :(

Everly Rockers 10-46 (nickel plated steel) - big, rich sound and they last 6-12 months with regular to heavy use

I use D'Addarios in the following gauges:

.009
.010
.012
.024
.032
.038

So the second, third, and sixth string are lighter than a regular set of 9s. I do this because that's how James Burton strings his Telecasters. It makes a big difference when I'm doing severe bends, especially on the G string. Going from a .016 to a .012 is a significant change.

Dean Markley 10-46. I use them on all my guitars and have done so for the past 12 or 13 years. I'll occasionally go with a set of 9's but not that often.

The Fender 250L because that's what I liked. I tried slinkys and super slinkys (I use them on my Gibsons) and d'Addario (which are on all my acoustics) but I liked the Fenders best for the tele.

I use D'Addario 8-38s on my Tele(and on all my electrics)you can bend them a fifth if your fingers are strong enough and they stay in tune. They also hold their new"crisp"tone longer than others I've tried.
