Hello everyone!
Was browsing pedal demos, found this, and liked the guitar a lot.
Looks and sounds really nice. But i can't figure out which model is it..
It looks like an american special but with switched neck. Is it?
Thank you!

It is a Fender Bass/Baritone/IV type guitar designed for 27"-30" scale lenghts
and set of strings starting with 13's or 14's or even higher.
Typical tuning is B-B instead of E-E, because the lower string tuning is tighter
and will not flub or buzz the frets.

Hope this helps. Toppscore :)

Chrome. I have seen that quite a bit ~ parts baritone guitars.

I just purchased a Baritone guitar. It ships today. Cannot wait.

There are people who stick a baritone neck onto a body and call it a baritione guitar.
There are many other factors, as proper string tension, good tuners, the nut,
the saddles, . . . . . that will keep the guitar in tune. Being in/out of tune is the
biggest complaint. Also, knowing the proper string sizes that will have the proper
size/tension ratio is so important. Unknowingly, buying a "PartsBaritone" guitar
will have problems as the guitar will have high odds of constantly being out of tune.
Much more so than baritone guitars that are part of a company's normal product line.

Following are some notes I took from a baritone guitar builder:
===========================
Elixir strings in the box - I was told these are the best all around
with anti rust nanoweb coating.

They are baritone/.012-.068 the strings (e.012 b.016 g.022 d .038 a .052 e .068)

Just to make sure when I built it I put the low E on and tuned it an octave
down with no buzz or rattle so it will definitely go to B-B

There are about 20 different tunings you can do with a baritone depending on the style of music.

String tension is the most important thing in a baritone guitar
You are very right there, that's why I did the test.
Some players go through a number of different string types & sizes to find the right one
Some heavy metal guys like the string action high so they can hammer the chords.
The C&W crowd wants the string set low for speed

All my guitars are strung to customer set up specs and checked for intonation
in playing position, not laying down flat on some board.

We have a jig that holds the guitar upright in playing position.
It's really the only correct way to set intonation, but not many guitar techs
will do it that way

The first Fender baritone guitar was the Bass VI.

A shortlived Bajo Sexto Telecaster was introduced in 1990. This Custom Shop Tele featured a 2-octave maple fretboard and was used for the instance by Jimmy Page.

There was also a Fred Stuart Masterbuilt Thinline Bajo Sexto featuring a rosewood board which belonged to Richie Sambora.

Hi! I'm assuming your comment about "first" is first for Fender Guitar?

I've read that DanElectro was first in making the electric Baritone guitar
popular during the 1950s. Not sure who invented the Baritone guitar.
Since I have been reading about Spanish guitars, lately,
Maybe Don Juan or Zorro were the first Baritone players

Wiki: "In 1956, Danelectro introduced the six-string Baritone guitar, which would be adopted by other companies such as Fender with the Fender VI. The baritone guitar never proved especially popular but found an enduring niche in Nashville as the instrument of choice for "Tic-tac" bass lines. In 1966, Danelectro was sold to MCA. A year later, the Coral line, known for its hollow-bodies and electric sitars, was introduced. In 1969, the Danelectro plant was closed, due to MCA's attempt to market Danelectros to small guitar shops rather than large department stores."
