Fender Black Paisley Stratocaster® HSS Electric Guitar
$669.99
$499.99
You Save: $170.00
We’ve taken our Standard series Stratocaster and swathed it in swirling black paisley for a captivating new look that is both darkly alluring and elegantly psychedelic.

Fair pricing. It is a MIA, right?

There are two types of Fender Brad Paisley Telecasters, right?
HSS and SS? Right? Both for $500 each. PLMK. Toppscore :)

The HSS is a Strat, not a Tele.

Personally I would put a matching pickguard and turn it into a Sambora.

Researching the Sambora, it's an HSS Strat with Floyd Rose Trem & Locking Nut.
What else makes this Sambora special?

There were several incarnations of this signature Strat guitar.

One is the aforementioned HSS with the graduated MOP stars and Floyd Rose Original tremelo. It was available as MIA and MIJ editions with the former featuring switchable active electronics (25dB midboost and TBX circuits), Texas Special/PAF Pro combination and the latter lacking off the midboost and sporting two RS single-coils instead of the Texas Specials.

Black Paisley Samboras are Japanese made though I saw USA Black Paisleys (such as the pictured guitar above) featuring the same specs as their MIA counterparts.

Throughout the years a couple of changes had been made to the instrument: the Floyd Rose has been replaced by a vintage tremolo and the boost reduced to 12dB; the latest version of the Sambora Strat was presented with American Vintage hardware, small MOP stars and three dual-coil Ceramic Noiseless pickups.

Gosh. This Super Strat, HM Heavy Metal, HRR Hot Rod Reissue,
Ibanez RG series, H HH HHH HSS HSH Strats, Dave Murray, Dave Mustaine,
2011 Fender Artist John 5 HHH Triple Telecaster,
and all of the other souped up hummers available, . . . . . . . I'm REALLY really getting EXCITED

Thanks, guys    Toppscore 8)

The HRR models became the basis for the Sambora Strat:

Quote:
The Sambora Signature model is rooted in the custom HRR Stratocaster created for the artist by the Custom Shop in 1990.

Yep, but Toppscore mentioned the Black Paisley HSS Strat, that's why we'd go off topic!
