Ok Im in a pickle here. I have two teles. A 52 reissue and a Deluxe. I love both of them, for different reason. I love the 52 for its vintage, vibe, and the butterscotch color. I love the deluxe for its unique color(tungsten) and its comfortable contoured heel and compound radius neck. I may have to get rid of one of them, for financial reason, and I cant decide which one should go. Which would you guys get rid of it yu had to make the painful choice?

I'll make the decision easy for you....send the 52 to me. I'll take good care of it.

Just kidding. That is a tough decision, but I'd keep the '52 if it was me.

Cool, so you must be more of a traditional, vintage, type man then?

Absolutely! I've got two 50's style Tele's now and am always looking to add more. Maybe a '52 will be next.

Since they are both very nice tele,s which one make better financial sense. Which will get you the most cash. I would think thats the 52.

You can always get out of financial issues.
Sell the 1952 Reissue, it will sell higher and faster.
Plus, the Deluxe should have more features geared towards
modern music and sounds.

Both great guitars. I have a 1960s Reissue Tele that is modified,
but the wood (neck & body & fretboard) "feel" are great.

Get the money and be happy.
Two weeks after you sell, it won't feel so bad
as not making the rent payment.

Take care. Toppscore 8)

I was looking at the Deluxe series of Teles and I couldn't find the one that came in the color tungsten.

Could you post a photo?

Let the market dictate. Put them both up for sale...and then keep the one that doesn't sell quickly. :)

Hey! The snipers that spend lots of time waiting for the auction end
will be disappointed that all their time and watching efforts were wasted
when you pull/end an auction early. Bad Karma.

Depends if you are selling on ebay, or not! If you are, and people are bidding on both, in that case sell both, clear the financial issue...and look around for another guitar!

Exactly. Can't take it with you.
It is all metal wood plastic & sweat.
It's fun seeking and buying.
Great relief paying those bills.
