I am waiting the delivery (tomorrow hopefully) of my new guitar a Fen Tele 50,s classic. With Bare knuckle Pile drivers installed...Any one out there got any opinions on them? I have seen and heard alot of reviews. All good .Just never got around to playing one. So any thoughts??

No replies...So I will review it myself...
Sounds like a dream...Still retains that wicked classic 'Telecaster' twang. Played through a clean amp can get some really nice but wider sounds.
Only draw back is the obvious lack of the back cutaway, due to it being a 50's copy. But it only becomes an issue when sitting for too long a period. So no real problem. So if you wanna get one, do so. You will not regret it.

The wood is good (swamp ash). The neck has the vintage frets and radius, but it's a C profile which feels a bit thinner than the classic U profile.

I'm with you MK, the 50's Tele is phenomenal. I love mine. Feels and plays totally different from my other 4 Teles.

I've never played a '50s Classic Series Tele because no stores in my area carry them, but I have a '50s Classic Series Strat which is a terrific guitar. I highly recommend them.
