There are small circular metal bits in the back of my '62 Tele RI where you load the strings through. Recently I lost one, and I need to replace it.

a) what is that part called?

b) where can I order a replacement?

Thanks and apologies for not knowing what those are called - this is the first Tele I've owned, so it's a bit new to me.

They are called string ferrules! Should be easy to find from parts stockists, or even guitar stores, but you most likely will have to buy a set as they won't be sold individually.

Since you have to replace them, go to www.callahamguitars.com and replace them with a really good set for not much more than others....
