No need to :roll: :roll: ; that's why this is an "FSR" model and not a Classic Series reissue model.

It was done as a "mash-up", combining an MIM Standard-spec neck with the '72 Deluxe body/pickups plus unique colors (candy apple red and this surf green). I believe these were originally to be a Guitar Center/Musician's Friend exclusive but Fender wound up making them available to several other dealers as well. Why they wound up using that particular logo instead of the current MIM Standard logo I don't know.

because the current MIM std logo looks cheap and crap ? literally it would be enough to put me off buying a current MIM std. it looks like a logo off a rip-off guitar. in fact its the worst fender logo ive ever seen.

Snappy looking guitar there Gyps. You'll definitely stand out from the crowd with that one, regardless of logo.
