What can you tell us about the FideliTrons on the new Cabronita line? Are they made to sound like classic FilterTrons, or something else? What kind of magnets are in them?

Thanks,
Dave

Brad is webmaster and administrator. He does not typically answer technical questions.

Off hand, from their appearance, I'd say the answer to your question is that they are Fender's "interpretation" of a Flitertron. Do they sound like a Filtertron? Don't know. Don't know what magnets are used either.

The OP is not asking about the Custom Shop guitar. He is asking about this:

You're quite right about the standard production model, but I've added this notice for general information purposes.

BTW I guess there's a Cabronita Strat in the works. :)

I've also asked the Fender guy at my preferred store if he can get some details on the pickups.

Custom Shop Cabs used TV Jones TV Classics. The Telebration Cabs used TV Jones Filter'Trons (Were those just TV Classics by another name?). Gretsch has the High-Sensitive Filter'Tron, the Hot Rod Filter'Tron, the Mega'Tron, and the Black Top Filter'Tron. Some Gretsches have TV Jones TV Classics or Power'Trons. And now Fender hits us with a Fideli'Tron!
