I saw 6 US Std Teles for 750.00 at GC used. No black ones though. Sorry.

First of all GC will price match anyone. MF and GC are the same company. Should they not make money on what they sell. They have employees to pay.

Oh boy, that hits home! There is a lot of truth in what you say. I have three teles that I consider quite different from each other. I recently did separate recordings of all three to the same backing track. When listening back, yes, each had their own character. What really hit me however, was that in all honesty, they three were more similar than different. I seriously doubt that many non musicians could tell the difference. Got me thinking...
