Not sure if this guitar is made in the US. It's an American Vintage 52 reissue but I don't see an inscription indicating it was made in US?

Because this is a vintage guitar the serial number on the bridge plate is for looks only. So should the guitar also have a vaild current serial number?

Thanks for the help.

Rob:
I want to be sure where the guitar is made. So I assume it is made in the US if it is called "American Vintage 52 Telecaster Reissue.
The serial is on the bridge, but I am confused because it says "patent pending" which I understand refers to a historical patent. I thought since the guitar is a new manufacture of an old design that it should also have a new serial number.
Thanks.

Hi Itwill,
Sounds more and more like a US made 52 all the time. Yeh, it will have the Patent pending on it and underneath that will be the serial number. If you like, feel free to PM me with the number and I can see if it tracks in our system.
Please understand that I (or anyone else) can't really authenticate a guitar online, and certainly not without a few pictures....but we can get you closer probability-wise.
Not sure why you're unsure.......did you buy from an authorized dealer?
At any rate, drop me a pm and I'll have a quick look.

Cheers,
rob
